A place that we always like to visit. Solid café with a good selection of cakes and artisan baked goods. The Backhuus Day, where there is oven-warm streusel cake, is particularly recommended. The coffee is good too.

In the mill bakery you (ETT) can expect a great cake counter 😀 as well as delicious baked goods and various coffee specialties ☕👍. Everything super fresh. Nice cafe garden with a view of the mill and the beautiful East Frisian landscape. Don't forget to mention the friendly staff !! A visit is always worthwhile !!

Well, tables were dirty and that in Corona times. Service at the counter very unfriendly / as if they were annoyed by guests. Pastries and coffee were good.

The service was extremely incompetent and unfriendly. The incompetence is based on the lack of knowledge about the ingredients of the cake. When asked which cake gelatine was used in, the service staff did not know and did not look in a table of contents or similar. to. I got the answer: Probably in all tarts and cakes. The unfriendliness is reflected in the following comment, which read in a general sense: Your own fault if you are a vegetarian. So I can't recommend this bakery for any vegan or vegetarian. My friend ate a cake with probably gelatine, which he liked.

We went there on the recommendation of friends. The older lady who served us was unfortunately very rude! When I discussed with my partner how many and which rolls we would take, the waitress went to the cash register with the words "You have to speak up so I understand what you want". Before that, we mentioned that we need a moment to think about it. At 14:00 there were only 3 types of bread to choose from. Pretty meager when you consider that the bakery doesn't close until 6pm. The cake selection was plentiful. When we asked which cakes these are, we were given information, but here too in an unfriendly tone and facial expression. In terms of taste, the cakes are okay (even if a hair was incorporated). We will no longer visit the bakery and unfortunately cannot recommend it to others.

In any case, I recommend this location to eat good cakes, tarts or tasty little things or to enjoy hearty coffee. Also excellent is the freshly baked raisin bread from the adjacent bakery👍👍👍

Very cozy and the price-performance ratio is unbeatable! On some days, children can bake there or bake stick bread outside over an open fire! Very nicely done and the cake is super tasty and very inexpensive! Everything is right here :)

Super delicious bread and equally delicious cake. We have never been disappointed here. The mill crust bread and the cheesecake are particularly recommended. The prices are perfectly reasonable for the quality. The service is always friendly. Keep it up!

Price-performance ratio is no longer as attractive as it was some time ago. I used to drive extra kilometers to eat a strawberry sundae. Not today. Quality of the cakes but consistently good.

A wonderful cafe right on a mill. There is very good Frankfurt wreath. The pieces are huge 😂. You can sit comfortably outside. Prices are perfectly fine ... everything is perfect. Would love to come again.

One of the best bakeries I know so far. Great pies and rolls. The Frankfurt wreath is really huge. I haven't tried the bread yet. The selection is amazing and the rolls were really good the next day. Top shop !!!
